Emerald District Fashion Show

Posted February 26th, 2009 under News

This year, Huron  is putting on a charity fashion show that will turn you green with envy. Huron has teamed up with The McIlwraith Field Naturalists Incorporated to tackle the environment - one park at a time.

The McIlwraith Field Naturalists (MFN) do their part in the London community by preserving parks and natural areas, as well as creating awareness about the environment with a local magazine and a nature hot line. This foundation is dear to Huron College’s heart because Swift birds nest in the Huron chimneys.

On March 21st at 8pm at the Wave, fashion takes action. Watch the new and innovative trends of 2009 hit the runway in support of MFN.  Tickets are $10 and will be sold at the Info Desk soon. Ticket sale dates will be announced shortly.
